GAS-WATER HEAT EXCHANGER
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
The bi-thermal heat exchanger is used in gas heaters to produce hot water for heating and also hot water for domestic use in a single product. The exchanger therefore has two hydraulic circuits that are distinctly separated from each other. The heating circuit is made up of oval section copper pipes : a series of copper wings are welded to the pipes in order to recover heat from the combustion smoke. The pipes make up the heating circuit and are connected to each other by header collectors. The domestic hot water circuit is made up of shaped copper pipes that coaxially cross inside the oval pipes : the pipe ends are joined by brass bends and unions for connection to the hydraulic circuit. This solution takes up little space and answers the requests for hot water made by users more quickly.
